They came out to replace vent pipe on a hot water heater and furnace. They said the fire box I the furnace was shot and said they could replace the vent pipe for $1,500. or put a new furnace in for $2,600. The gas company had just inspected everything the day before and said only the vent pipe needed replaced. As for the hot water heater they told me to buy an electric one. I paid in full for services that were not effective. I called to request that they come see why it wasn't working still. I was told many times they would be here tomorrow... I politely waited, called at the end of the next day at 430 when no one called or showed to be told tomorrow again, twice... Then it was Friday so now a weekend of no AC. They took advantage of my elderly in-laws. They were charged $150 to replace a plug on the dishwasher. The plug they used wouldn't allow them to push the stove back which was next to the dishwasher. When my husband called to ask them to change it, they refused. Actually they said my in laws would have to pay another $75 service charge.
I would not tell anyone to use this business. I am in talks with the Better Business Association because I thought they had correctly installed a heat pump in May of 2008, but when we tried to clean the filter in Nov. we could not find one. After the owner checked, he was dumbfounded that they neglected to install one anywhere in the system.
