Frank Torchia has demonstrated unethical behaviour and a lack of professionalism. I discharged my private mortgage, he acted on behalf of the lender and exploited my situation, charging me $2,825 in legal fees and an additional $847.50 for discharge fees. In my experience, the legal fees for such a straightforward task typically range from $600 to $800. His inflated charges and lack of professionalism is disgusting.

I had a very unfortunate experience with Belinda Rossi at Miller Thomson. Belinda and her firm are hugely overrated. The only benefit that I see is the intimidation factor of a large national firm but if that fails you get lack lustre representation, especially if you don't have deep pockets. I was handed over to a junior half way through her representation. She is very overpriced. Take a look at their foyer and you will see where your hard-earned money really goes.
