Today I came to see the Houston symphony perform which was excellent. During intermission I went to the bathroom. When I walked out a dad was upset because a guy walked into the woman's restroom. When she walked out she was transgender. A Miller outdoor theater employee began yelling at her and telling her that she needed to use the men's bathroom not even waiting for security. Beautiful setting, dynamic orchestra , inspired conductor . Mendelsohn's music topped the evening.

This is one of my favorite places in our city. We've come to three consecutive performances by the Houston Symphony, and have enjoyed a summer breeze and picnic on the hill. Shakespeare in the park, dance events, and concerts are so wonderful at this venue. Grab a blanket and get here (or snag open seats in the covered space!). Free, top notch entertainment that's kid, pet, family, and friend friendly!
