Read a story about a gentleman who works at this location telling a type 1 diabetic teenager he wouldn’t be able to pursue a career in fire/EMS due to his diabetes. Disgusting and unprofessional, and clearly just a personal opinion as I’m a type 1 diabetic who works in EMS. Last time I checked chiropractors don’t specialize in diabetes, and even more so, are clearly very uneducated.
I took my teenager to the chiropractor today; confirmed before booking the place accepts Oregon Health Plan. They run his insurance before he goes in and say that the insurance is saying he isnt active. But that 3 clients earlier had the same issue and once they called it turned out they were covered- so the portal is probably having issues. They are really good at focusing on what you are in there for and finding the treatment. Only chiropractic I have been too that was able to help me not be in every week for my back.
First time in, gentle but effective manipulation. I felt cared for, listened to, and invested in. I witnessed that high level of care with the other patients that were moving in and out of the offices. Broad range of people, age, mobility, gender - in that one afternoon. The care from the front desk to the Dr's was genuine and felt very much part of the culture.
