RecommendedNot sure why but the telephone is not MBO's favorite tool. I've learned to call them or stop by. I'm retired so time isn't as important to me as some. As for the accuracy of my returns, MBO is pretty good. MBO and the IRS are usually within a few dollars of each other. As for timeliness, I drop off my stuff then go in and my returned is filled on line. No fuss, no muss … write a check and walk out with my taxes all done. Great professionals!
Took 3 months to complete my father's personal income taxes (although kept telling us they would be done "by the end of the week") and then charged almost $300.00! We had to file an extension on the estate due to their lackadaisical service. Strongly do not recommend!!
By far the best accountants around. Tim and company provide excellent customer service, promptness, and bring a great deal of expertise to your tax, accounting, and business needs.
Do not take your taxes here unless you’re ok with not seeing them for a few months. Tim was unable to complete his job in a timely manner and forced the estate to file an extension to avoid fines and still charged $280. He repeatedly stated he would call the next day, and didn’t. He did whatever he could to placate the executors say multiple times “They’d be done at the end of the week.” There is no excuse for this poor service and making an already difficult situation harder for the family members.
