Dr Kwan is excellent, patient, very thorough and knowledgeable he is my PC physician and no plans to change this. BUT….the front desk staff have zero skills in customer (patient) facing, complain, impatient and unfriendly. I am specifically referring to the front reception person. Unbelievably horrible and unfit for this critical role.
Dr Myron Kwan is the finest Family Doctor I have had in my 77 years. He has a unique combination of medical expertise and common sense which is missing in medicine these days. The negative reviews I see are from other Docs at this location. Dr. Kwan is very efficient but makes sure all of your issues are taken care of. And the current office staff is kind and helpful.
Although my doctor is good, she discovered the Epstein Barr virus in my liver, everything else SUCKS. The communication, the portal, prescription refills, and setting appointments is all difficult and over complicated. Every time my prescription runs out and I place the refill with my pharmacy there’s no refills and they have to reach out to my doctor to approve a basic prescription for my chronic illness. Always have a good visit
Dr. Manivel has one of the most passive aggressive demeanors of any doctor I have encountered. The visit was extremely tense from the moment I walked in the door (a minute early instead of 15, which I had planned for since I didn’t have my paperwork done, because I had gotten a bit lost). I was immediately made to feel really bad, even though I finished it in 8 minutes, apologetically. Dr. Manivel was the real issue, however.
