The Psychiatrist at the time wasn’t necessarily personable. Took her 30 minutes to diagnose me and when I tried to add some input she dismissed it as long as SOME of my symptoms were related to the diagnosis and never really dove deeper which is FINE I don’t expect a random person to actually care about me haha as bad as it sounds it was obvious you’re just another mouth to feed meds..I ended up just stopping meds and never going back after a couple months as all our check up phone calls were stiff & awkward in nature. Really listened to me and helped to find the medication that worked best for me. Doing much better now.
Doctor Alcobar was nice enough, but she immediately prescribed a new drug, Vraylar, which my new doctor said he has prescribed only once or twice in his thirty years of practice. I think I was a subject in the "research" part of their name without knowing it. Furthermore they are incapable of refunding a $20 credit I have on my account - from 18 months ago! Look elsewhere. Yes offices change and staff also changes over time, that is the way things always go. So why a couple of people are complaining about staff changes is beyond my comprehension. Everybody in that office has always, and I mean always, been very nice and cooperative and responsive to my needs. And I'm really impressed with their nurse practitioner, Cindia. Again, I like the staff very much, never had an issue .
