Jake, Aubrey has been one of the best people I have dealt with in terms of building a home in Utah. Everyone has difficulties while construction, key is catch it on time, communicate it and try to resolve the issues. So far Jake has been very responsive and a good communicator. He has diligently helped us finish our home and we continuing to expand our business relationship . Highly recommend hiring them and happy to share or discuss my experience with them, if needed
We built our home with Millcreek in 2019 ago and loved working with Jake. He has been incredibly flexible and willing to accommodate our requests. We spoke with many other builders and they weren't willing to let us change or modify our plans much, or do any sweat equity. Millcreek has been the exact opposite. Location wasn’t their fault ( though they knew where they were building) quality of work was horrible, cheap windows, flooring , doors - went for walk through couldn’t open water main closet without opening garage , I was under belief I was buying a townhouse they recorded property as condo ?! Very sketchy business wouldn’t recommend them to anyone
Jake Toombs is a pile of garbage builder at best. Accounting double billed me $23k on numerous line items. They couldn’t complete the 4 way in under a year! I had to pay their electrical sub direct as they are on verge of bankruptcy, stay away.
We put a deposit and earnest money on a brand new community in South Weber. The builder could not secure construction funding in the specified time period. Jacob Tombs is refusing any phone calls or texts. We are being told we are not getting any of our money back. I have tried calling and texting and no response. I will never recommend MillCreek Homes to anyone. They are dishonest and shady. Please spread the word.
