I have had the worst possible experience with this home builder. They use the cheapest labor and even unlicensed plumbers to install the plumbing in the homes. Before I have even made my second mortgage payment my house has already flooded due to poor workmanship. My brand new house is a complete disaster now. We have a 15 month old little girl that can’t even be free to walk downstairs because all we have is concrete floors. I currently live in my second (and last) Millard Bowen home. On a personal level the finishes were horrible. I had to have my entire interior painted after 2 years. The original sheetrock job was very bad and when they tried to repair it a year later, the paint didn't even come close to matching. That left spots all over the house. Their response was to leave me a 5 gallon bucket so I could fix it if I want. On a larger note, they left the neighborhood in debt.
