New York City prices without the NYC hustle or service. We came in for lunch on Saturday; only 3 other tables were being serviced inside. After placing our order, it took 50+ minutes to get a quinoa bowl and one arepa. I've never asked for an update at a restaurant before, but I've also never needed to: either the food comes or someone stops by to explain the kitchen is backed up. Slow service, small plates at $25+, a 3% card surcharge, and zero attention = 2 stars. The quality of food and ambiance give it 1 star back.
Good egg & cheese english muffin at the Provisions shop, and tahini chocolate chip is delicious. They have Dell’s ice cream. Yum.
I go to the little shop they have next to the restaurant. Get the Blondie with chocolate and hazelnuts. One of the best baked goods I have ever bought. Restaurant has nice outdoor seating. Was quiet when I was there. Nice to have the rail trail right next to it. Nice atmosphere inside. It is someplace we suggest when we meet people hiking and they ask us where to eat local.
Waiter took our order. I had 2 orders to go that I ordered with my order. After we got our food we had to flag someone down to get minor things. Our waiter didn't check on us once. We were done with dinner and dessert and I asked about my to go orders and they weren't even started. Then when the to go orders were finally ready 25 minutes later he asked if we want anything else like dessert but we already had dessert. I had to ask for the check multiple times. I do not recommend this restaurant
