There are not enough kind words to describe Jen. She is extremely knowledgeable but her true value comes with her caring and gentle demeanor. I met with Jen prior to baby being born and we went over all things lactation as well as some concerns I had about breast feeding. She provided me with the confidence I needed prior to giving birth. I met Jen when I was barely 2 weeks post partum and trying to navigate breastfeeding as a first time Mom. Jen provided a safe space for me to vocalize my honest feelings about motherhood and all that comes with it and was nonjudgmental and supportive as we established a plan of care. My first follow up visit was prompted by my desire to wean and transition away from breastfeeding (which was not an easy decision). I cannot speak more highly of Milkwell! Carolyn was our lactation consultant for our first born and was my saving grace throughout the entire process. She has a very personable and realistic approach to her practice and we were grateful to get our baby to latch our first visit. She also check-in on us frequently and provided a wealth of insight and information to get us through the process. I look forward to working with her again with our next baby! Jen, Carolyn & the Milkwell team were my saving grace of the fourth trimester! I met them 2.5 weeks after birth where my little one was losing weight daily and feeling completely lost with all things feeding and pumping.
