We stopped here last minute on a long drive and it was more than worth it to sit down for a little instead of getting something quicker. I got the shrimp and grits. They were entirely deserving of the award that they advertised on the menu. My boyfriend really enjoyed The Traditional plate, especially the potatoes! If we make the same trip one day, we’ll definitely stop here again.
Was looking for local, black owned restaurant to support while visiting my daughter who attends VSU. Service was great. Atmosphere was great. Food was good. Fried green tomatoes were the appetizer and the star of the meal. I had the shrimp and grits and they were shrimp and grits. Food was Amazing. I ordered Crispy Salmon hash with a Pineapple Hennessy for my drink. First bite was everything. Food seasoned to perfection. Drink made with love. Chef's kiss🤌🏾Only disappointing thing is I don't have this place in Ohio when I go back home
