10 years ago, my husband to be and I chose Millitellos to make our wedding cake, best decision ever! They were the only bakery that we could find that offered a carrot cake. It was superb! We decided that for our 10th anniversary we had to have them make our cake once again. Another best decision! When we booked them for our cake tasting for wedding cakes it seemed like it was a bother to the owner. We finally decided on the perfect cake, Baverian cream. When he wrote our order down he wrote something else, when I questioned him on it, he said that it is baverian cream just a different name. So we didn't think anything of it. We paid our $650 for the cake and another $50 refundable deposit for the fake cake. When picking up a Birthday Cake not only have them open the box so you may see it have them take it out of the box. Imagine my surprise as I took it out of the box to serve it. The cake was slanted terribly and the frosting was so soft it was falling off the cake making it very hard to cut. No one told me to refrigerate as it was not in the refrigerator when I picked it up. The chocolate cake was very dry. One very disappointed customer. All as I can say is I WON"T BE BACK
This is a great bakery. I have been going to Militillo's since they opened. I really like all their baked goods. Wait til you taste the poochki with the cannoli cream. It's out of this world.
MR MILITELLO MADE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL WEDDING CAKE FOR US IT WAS A PINEAPPLE MANDERIN ORANG TORTE ONE BITE AND YOU THINK THAT YOU HAVE DIED AND WENT TO HEAVEN. MR. MILITELLO BENT OVER BACKWARD TO MAKE SURE EVRY DETAIL WAS JUST PERFECT RIGHT DOWN TO THE MATCHING FABRIC ON THE CAKE TABEL
