*** UPDATE - I had a good friend commit suicide and I couldn't get past it. I was the last person he had talked to and I carried a lot of hatred for myself that I couldn't save him. My therapist used some EMDR treatment that helped me finally realize it was not my fault. I had been living my life very differently because of the shame. There was a moment with my therapist when I realized it was finally gone and I didn't know that was even possible. I was speechless. I literally told my therapist she is like Jesus. She healed ... read more

I am a nurse that works in a department with patients that unfortunately have major health concerns. Sometimes I may spend months working with a patient and to find on my time or day off that the patient has passed. When you add up all of these deaths, one by one it became too much. I didn't want to go to therapy, but my wife continued to say that my anger and irritability was getting worse. I work in law enforcement, and we see and are exposed to a lot. I didn't realize what it was doing to me until I finally addressed it. Im so grateful for Phoenix Rebellion Therapy for providing me a place to land. Well worth the visits. Plan on coming back whenever I need a tune up.

I have really enjoy Phoenix. Some sessions are hard, but others are really uplifting. I don't feel like I wasted my time no matter what. That is important.

I put off going to therapy for a long time, but I'm glad I finally did. I really get along well with my councilor. It's a part of my daily life now, and I know I'll work through my problems here when things get tough. I'm glad I finally made an appointment here. It felt good right away. Don't judge. A nice, quiet place to talk things over.
