I don't know where these positive reviews can possibly be coming from. Perhaps the business has recently changed hands... I went here because some of the reviews mentioned quality work done on vintage cars, so I felt confident bringing my recently acquired 1986 VW there. Sadly the shop completely ruined the drop dead mint stock VW cassette deck that was in the car when they replaced a speaker. Unbelievable service! Ed is an incredible guy who takes the time to explain everything to you and make sure you are hooked up correctly! I've experienced other audio shops in Connecticut and could not find anybody even remotely close to being as professional and as real as Ed! Will definitely be going back to Ed for my other projects!
Ed is the absolute best!!!!! I have used Milford Auto sound and Security several times. For speaker replacement and remote car starters. Very knowledgeable and what I value the most is honesty. Plenty of options and no pressure for the up sell. Always support local small businesses!! Highly recommend.
RecommendedMy experience was great. I used the groupon for a remote car starter and read the fine print indicating that I might need a bypass module for my car adding an extra $100 on to the groupon. I knew exactly what I would be spending going in and it was an extremely smooth process. Ed was very friendly, took exactly the amount of time he said it would take, and showed me exactly how to use the starter once installed. Overall I would highly recommend this place.
After reading all the reviews online about their work I decided to give them a try. I was in the market for a replacement media unit with Apple CarPlay Support to replace the existing analog hint. The service was great and Ed was very professional. His work is top notch and I would recommend this business to anyone considering having and after market unit installed in your vehicle.
