I brought up concerns about my daughter’s speech to her pediatrician and was referred to Loma Linda for a hearing test and ENT consult first. I voiced concerns to the ENT and they blew off my concerns and even laughed when they told me that they weren’t valid. I was then referred to another speech therapist who did the whole evaluation over Zoom and based off my parent report. My adopted daughter does not speak much doctor referred her to milestone we had a few sessions was going until speech therapist Paige stated she does great during session and uses her words at her age level she then insinuated that maybe something is happening at home that's why she dont speak very much.
