Milestones is located at the base of Blackcomb next to the gondola. We read the not so great reviews online here and didn't expect much during our impromptu visit but we were all pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. Honestly I can't understand why the reviews are so low, our food today was outstanding. We'd definitely return. Milestones is underrated here.

You'd think that with Easter weekend they would have been better prepared. It took half an hour just to get seated, despite there being no obvious shortage of available tables. The staff seemed flustered and unable to handle the volume of people coming through the door. A server even offered a kids' menu to a couple with a newborn in a stroller. Honestly, a very poor first impression. We asked for an outdoor table and were told it would be about a 10-minute wait. After waiting over 25 minutes, I had to go back myself to ask what was going on, and only then did they say we could be seated. To make things worse, the table they gave us was full of water and all the chairs were wet—completely uncomfortable. Good spot for Whistler. We were told there was a wait, but it was manageable. Beet and goat cheese salad was amazing. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meal.
