So back in May 2024 I was referred to Mrs Miles because my lawyer at the time was getting over on me and I didn’t feel comfortable with her going to trial with her. I was very stressed and wasn’t myself. This whole custody case was just to much. Mrs. Miles took over my case two weeks before trial and let’s just say she’s the Michael Jordan of lawyers. DO NOT HIRE THIS ATTORNEY!!!!!! Very poor handling of my simple divorce no property no kids and both agreed to sign and on top of that she kept my money do not use her look elsewhere.. she has yet to answer my calls, text, and emails. For being a lawyer and part of Harris county commission she has shown to be very unprofessional...if I was able to rate 1 star I would I will be filling complaint to the bar association.. I repeat do not hire her!!!
I just want to say that it was nothing but God that help me find Mrs. Miles, I prayed to find an attorney that had an affordable rate, compassionate, hands on, from our it’s conversation i became so emotional and she understood my pain, I knew I was in amazing hands. Mrs. Miles-Bazil actively listened, and she started working on my case right away. She kept me updated, and I am so thankful and grateful for her skill and expertise. 5 stars is not enough. I would give her 10 stars if I could.
Melinda Miles helped me several years ago with a custody issue. She was patient to explain my options and likely outcomes and I was able to avoid going to court. Today she helped me again on an issue that I thought would involve filing a petition. Turns out I was wrong and Melinda took time to explain why I didn’t need to do anything.
