My AC unit was freezing up. I figured my refrigerant was low, called them for service. Talking to the technician, once he found out my AC used R22, he recommended I check my filters and blower. Since R22 is obsolete he said he didn’t want me to pay a service fee because he would not be able to charge the unit. I changed my filters and my AC is working fine now.
