We waited 20 minutes for the still water we ordered, and when it arrived, it was in a carafe, not what we asked for. I have never felt so unwelcome at a restaurant in my life. Our dinner at MILA was probably one of my all-time favorite meals. Every single dish we had was delicious. We had the octopus skewers, wild fungi dumplings, branzino (presentation was amazing!!), potatoes with caviar, Brussels sprouts, and oysters. Not only was the food delicious, but the service was impeccable. At one point, my mom didn't even realize that her napkin slid off her lap, and a staff member came over to give her a fresh one. Food is good but over- rated and overpriced compared to other high end places like Catch or Carbone. The mushroom Parmesan truffle spaghetti at $58 is not as good as Catch similar dish at $34. The tuna tartar was tiny. 8 oz wagyu strip was good. My biggest complaint was the bill at $400 for 2 - no alcohol- and it includes a 20% “operations fee” (and tax on that charge) and the server was quick to point out it was and operations fee and not a service fee- come on guys if it is really for operations then build it into the pric... read more
MILA Restaurant in Miami has great food, a beautiful atmosphere, and excellent service. Definitely a good spot for dinner in South Beach.
Savannah is super comforting and addressed the situation of me being cold in the AC immediately. Moved me outside to enjoy the fire dancers & music. Experience was awesome given she listened to me and was professional and punctual. I don't know who the bartender woman was but she was amazing as well, made me the best cosmo. I hope they both obtain these compliments. Solid women! Thank you!
