I’ve been dealing with chronic pain for most of my life. I’ve seen hundreds of doctors. But I have never met a doctor so disgustingly rude. He didn’t even offer to help. Just shamed me for being on the type of medication I’m on. It makes no sense why this guy is in this line of work. Doctors are supposed to help people not shame them and refuse to offer any alternatives. If i could give 0 stars I would and after reading other reviews it seems like this is a common issue.
Just returned from this place, first time and I wouldn't go back if you paid me. My first delightful experience was getting a call with the lady wanting to know why I was late and that I needed to arrive 15 mins early. Which I understand you need to fill out paperwork but it was my first time there and I went into the wrong entrance. When I get there all the paperwork was, was a pain scale 1-10. Belittled me. Condescending. And wouldn’t listen to my 5 different pain conditions. I was trying to explain the pain in my feet & was currently doing testing for neuropathy & HPP. He quickly said I can do injections in your neck & that’s prob fibro. It happens all over your body. Left really upset. I also said injections in the neck didn’t work well. The site gets really tender after a few. Probably my EDS. But claimed that was what he could do.
Dr. Mik certainly DOES NOT warrant all of the 1 star reviews here. I notice a trend in them, but I digress... I have compressed L4 & L5 vertebrae and severe stenosis. I was taken by ambulance to the ER in early August 2025 because I was suddenly not able to sit down. The CT scan showed the above. Sent me home with Prednisone, NSAIDS and muscle relaxer plus to refer to a pain doctor, PT and PCP follow-up. Not having the first idea of pain docs, I called my PCP and referred me to South Hills. I am caregiver for a dear lady and accompanied her to an appointment with Dr. Mikhaylovskiy, and was stunned by his demeanor and tone. He was quite belittling as she attempted to answer a question he posed. Now, if she wasn't giving him the precise information he needed, fine. He could have gently interrupted her and rephrased the question. Instead, he used a condescending illustration to make the point that her answer was not relevant.
