Ordered chicken plate first one put on plate was raw. Young man said it was smoke I’m afraid smoke in a red tint doesn’t run onto plate when chicken is cut. Also the rice salad was spoiled could be leftovers from previous day(s) mixed in to fresh batch. Highway location food quality has gone down recently
Reasonable price buffet for lunch and variety of meats and veggies. Delicious food and plenty to fill up. Must try their banana pudding.
Great value for the $$! Wife had the Rib lunch (4 ribs and 3 sides) and I had a regular plate of brisket with 3 sides an sampled a couple of slices of the sausage. The ribs had good flavor and a good bite. The brisket was a good mix of lean and moist and accompanied by a unique bbq sauce which had good flavor. This is bar none best BBQ for your dollar , they serve high quality meats kept warm in a smoker on low heat , the brisket is tender and succulent , the pork while a tad dry soaks up the BBQ sauce like the dry ground guzzles rain , when I asked for a deluxe plate the butcher pulled out the meat I thought "man he's probably gonna give me 1-2 slices 3 tops" but then he just kept slicing , he even gave me the chefs cut (little cut that's not fit for sale or is too small for customers ) and it was delicious .
