I moved from another state, and was stoked to find a card shop still around, i took my kids there, he was great with me and the kids, i hadnt been collecting in 20+ years, so i had lots of questions, he broke them all down and told me lots of great info. we have been back 20+ times, sometimes we buy nothing, sometimes we buy a few things, when our home team comes to town to play the rockies, we swing in so the kids can grab some singles for autographs, he had recommendations on cards based on what autograph pens we use as so... read more
Mikes Stadium SportsCards is an awesome Place to find the cards you are looking for. Mike is accommodating and makes you feel at home. There is such an amazing selection of cards I have literally pulled up a chair and have spent hours in there. Mike has ALWAYS been friendly and nice to me, always on hand to answer any and all questions I have ever had. He has amazing in store autograph signings from big name players of all sports. I would HIGHLY recommend Mikes Stadium SportsCards for any of your sports collecting needs.
I've been here plenty of times with my kids, and I have always had a good experience. We never feel rushed and Mike is always welcoming and good with kids. I don't go anywhere else for cards even if other places are closer.

I have been here quite a few times. Every time I come in, I expect there is going to be a different level of customer service. However, it always seems to be the same experience. Mike is rude and it seems like he rushes you out of the store as soon as possible. If you aren't one of his close friends, he couldn't care less for you. I would bet that over 60 percent of his business is just him and his "cronies." Don't come here expecting good customer service. Fantastic Trip To Mike's Card Shop I was in the Denver area on business and found Mike's online so I decided to stop by.Mike was really cool and showed me everything I was interested in (baseball only). He is very knowledgeable and great to do business with.We chatted for quite some time and after two hours of visiting I walked out with a couple of new chrome boxes and some older packs. Mike's card shop is not one that I would recommend. He is overpriced and has little selection of individual relics. He also advertises book price then his selling price on his cards. This is indeed useful when the book price is correct, whereas in some cases he has the book price $5-$10 over the high book.
Cluttered shop but Mike was a nice guy. Wax prices were pretty good also. I would stop back in when I get back into town.
"Colorado's best card shop" I have shopped at Mike's since 1993, I can say his mantra of "Colorado's best card shop" is truly what it is. He has the best giveaways and the best promotions in the state. Plus with his discount card he offers the best wax box prices that I have seen even in my travels to other states. I would shop no other shop, so if your new to the state stop in and tell Mike your a first time customer and longtime collector.
