I am following up on a recent review as the system does not allow me to. I left a negative review of the company laughing at me and him telling me I would have to do the work myself and not giving options. He claims he tried to offer options, but I cussed at him and hung up. Now I am flat out calling him out on not speaking the truth. I 100% did no such thing AND I found someone to do the hot water heater, so not doing myself. Way to try to spin it - just admit you were unprofessional and move on.
I will be in St, Clair next week and my tankless hot water heater is not working. I was trying to find out if he can order the part ahead of time or if I bought a new one, he could install when we get there. He told me whatever I buy, I am doing it myself. I asked why that is, and he said because he is not doing it. I take my Scamp here. Being a tiny trailer and not set up like most, we are always reluctant to take it to just anyone. Mike and his guys do solid work that they stand behind. Its just were I go now. Lots of people complain about how he is "rude" but honestly I am not looking for the man that does winterizing on my camper to give me a warm fuzzy hug. I just need my camper taken care of and he meets this expectation every time!
This is the first negative review I have ever given, but I feel others should know about this guy before hand. I have dealt with Mike 3-4 times over past 10 years or so and every time it has been a bad experience. He has always been arrogant, rude and completely unprofessional. The only reason I have continued to call is there are no other rv repairs companies in the area that service my location.
