Back in October, we hired Mike Hqll to remodel 2 bathrooms for $5000, and we furnished all the materials. Before it was over with he convinced us to redo a hallway also. We removed a floor furnace in the hall. We added new doors throughout the house, a new front door, put down flooring, and put up bead board on the ceiling for an extra $1500. Not professional. NOT LICENSED/BONDED! Mike failed to finish the job after weekly draws came close to an end and the job was far from finishing. He underestimated the time it would take to finish the job, and even though we added a few extra projects which were compensated for, he failed to continue the job and even blocked my number without a proper reason for quitting on the job. Had Mike come in and replace my lament countertops and after 4 days they are still not finished. They also hung 2 doors and they are really nice. As I have priced the items, the entire price for the doors and countertops are about $1500. They charged $1900 for labor for about 6 hours worth of work. That equals about $300 an hour. A little steep in my book, especially when I had to cap off a drain myself that he said he was going to do and fix the faucet and reconnect the water lines to the correct side.
