I would not recommend taking your boat to this business. I brought my boat in for routine maintenance after being told to drop it off. It then sat outside, unsecured and visible from Route 422, for a couple of weeks. While nothing happened, I wasn’t comfortable with how it was stored. I was later contacted and told the engine was seized and needed to be replaced. The repair quote was extremely high, so I declined the work. I have been taking my boat to Mike's Maine Repair for 10 years and have always gotten excellent service and great advice. This is a highly recommended marine repair shop. Mike and Tracy are knowledgeable, responsive, and great to work with.

Mike and his wife has worked on my boat for three years now. They have done engine work when I first met them and I have not taken it back for engine work since. Then it was the gimble bearing, that was fixed, then it was finished up this year with cosmetic things. There has not been 1 time their expertise was questioned. Extremely disappointed with the customer service at this boat company. I called to schedule a simple oil change and was met with rudeness and a dismissive attitude. I was told they were “too busy for just an oil change” and that we could probably just do it ourselves. If I wanted to do it myself, I wouldn’t have reached out to a professional in the first place. It’s frustrating to be treated like my business isn’t worth their time. I’ll be taking my boat — and my money — elsewhere.
