Tremendous store, with the dwindling market for camera and electronic stores, Mike's is a fantastic find. Knowledgeable staff, clearly they do their homework and are very passionate about photography.
If you are looking for a friendly atmosphere to shop in or even on line, Mike's Camera in Boulder is the place to go. I have purchased several camera's over the years from Mike's Camera in Boulder and I have yet to find a store that has the selection they do as well as the expert advice needed for me to take the best pictures I possibly can.
Mike's Camera provides a wide range of camera equipment, lightning and grip to suit the needs of the budding amateurs to seasoned professionals alike. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, providing customer service that far exceeds any of the big box retailers. Brick and mortar camera stores are a dying breed...shop local...shop Mike's Camera! You'll thank me later!
Very knowledgeable staff, and would consider a specialty camera store. Found a lot of items in stock that I couldn't find in the big box stores. Great looking store, would definitely recommend going in for at least a visit!!!

Great store conveniently located near the 580 & 680 interchange in Dublin, CA. In addition to a large selection of cameras, lenses and accessories; they offer professional-quality imaging at great prices. One of the very few places left that develops film (1-hour service for color). I
Went in to just look at cameras but ended up buying as the information I received was so thorough and complete. They give you a bunch of extras with your purchase that made it really worth while.
I am writing on behalf of my mom who does business here. She has been very pleased with the service and selection of cameras. She prefers film cameras and has had a difficult time finding quality processing for her film. Mike's has done a very good job on her photos. She gives us photo books of events and I agree that they have all come out very well.
3/29/2015 Please reconsider before using their repair service. The on camera flash was sticking on my Nikon D800 (Purchased From Mikes Camera) so I brought it into Mike's for repair. They quoted me $ 1200 for repair and stated the camera had "liquid" damage. I declined to pay the repair fee as the only issue wit the camera was that the flash did not automatically pop up.
