I was pleasantly surprised to find the Merrifield Shell station offered the annual Va inspection on Saturday morning. This service is becoming more difficult to arrange on weekends. Mike, the manager, described what work was required to pass inspection and he took care of all aspects of getting parts, overseeing repair, and getting me home after I left the car. I so appreciate the team at Merrifield...always helpful, polite and I know I can trust them. They will often check out my car before a trip -- no charge-- which is always much appreciated, and it helps me have confidence that all is working properly when I head out for a long trip. The mechanics were really nice and went out of their way to keep my van running. I appreciate all of them and I will go back.
