Mike Bikes? -NO WAY! Horrible Customer Service - I'm DONE with Mikes! I have a history with Mikes. Good price on bikes (during Mega Sale Only) bad service from know-it-all staff. Which they don't (know it all), all they do seem to know is that their views are right and anyone else obviously does not know what the heck they are talking about. Way to run a business. horrible bike mechanics Horrible mechanics. they ruined my bottom bracket and when I returned the bike to complain they said it was just bad. It wasn't bad when I brought it in and it was only 6 months old. Avoid at all costs

mikes bikes the people here are very knowledgable. they don't just fix your bike either, they teach you how to do it yourself. i bought my first road bike here and i was very pleased. they even installed all the accesories for free.
I am a Mikes Bikes employee I have read the reviews here, and the owners response. I have been in retail for about 10 years, and I have managed a Mikes Bikes store. During that time, I have had plenty of one on one time with the owners.
mini chain A quick suggestion. Before you buy a bike at Mike's, call your local bicycle shop and ask if they can match the Mikes Bikes price. Chances are, your local bike shop is run by an enthusiast. They might. Mine did, and $50 less! Saw the Mikes Bikes postings here. Far better to support your local shop as a rule. But given the politics of these owners, even if the not shared by the employees, go with a non "chain" shop.
Cannondale Bikes! The Staff here knows all about bikes. It is nice to find the type of bike us true bikers are shopping for. They will let you test out the bikes that you are thinking about purchasing and the advice is amazing.
Professional The front tire of my friend's bike popped several weeks ago while we were biking around San Francisco, and finding Mike's Bikes was the best thing that happened that day. The employees there were nice and helpful, and the environment was clean and neat. A bit on the pricey side, but we were in and out and on our way in no time, thanks to Mike's Bikes.
