Chill, down to earth and knowledgeable mechanics — great customer service and full shop. I’m writing this in contrast to Dports Basement, obnoxious mechanics who are not helpful and their stock really sucks compared to Mike’s. Don’t go there. Lol.
10-Star Service! I cannot say enough good things about our experience at this bike shop thanks to Eric! He was truly amazing. From the moment we walked in, he went above and beyond—not just for me, but for my toddler as well. I walked into Mike’s Bikes in Berkeley in a rough mood, and the team there got me up and running again. From the moment I stepped in, they were communicative, attentive, and provided a great repair on a snapped derailleur cable. They even took the time to make some thoughtful recommendations for when I’m ready to buy my next frame. Always a great and pro experience at MB.
