Avid cyclist here. I forgot my thru axle at home and was attending a ride. I thought my day was over. I stepped in and “John” found me a replacement axle matching my bike thread at no time so I can join the ride. When I asked about the cost, he said it was the axle on his personal bike and I could borrow it, do the ride and return it to him afterwards and did not charge me a dime. This is the worst experience we have had at Mike's bikes of Pleasanton in the last 8 years. We have got 2 different bikes and gadgets from them. This experience is about the recent BMC bike we purchased from them in May 2023. We gave the bike to them for repair for the failed brakes and they could not locate the problem in the bike for 4 weeks.
