Avid cyclist here. I forgot my thru axle at home and was attending a ride. I thought my day was over. I stepped in and “John” found me a replacement axle matching my bike thread at no time so I can join the ride. When I asked about the cost, he said it was the axle on his personal bike and I could borrow it, do the ride and return it to him afterwards and did not charge me a dime.
