Took my '08 Escalade here to have a remanufactured transmission installed because they were willing to install one that I purchased from Street Smart Transmissions. The process was easy, the transmission arrived a day after I ordered it, I dropped off the vehicle the next day and picked it up the following day. They were even able to flash the transmission so it worked with my engine. This saved me a LOT of money. Time will tell on the reman but that is not the shop's problem.
