Mike's after hours is the best place to take your vehicle into. Mike works very hard long hours to take care of your issues and is very helpful.. he goes out of his way to figure things out..something most shops won't do
He is very terrible with replying with his clients via text and call and raises the quoted prices would not recommend. Only as last resort.
I had dropped my S10 off there the beginning of September. I talked to Mike personally and told him I just bought it and wanted to get it winter ready. He asked what my time frame was, being the end of summer, I told him a month or so, I thought that would be plenty of time, I seen he was pretty busy and he stated he was working by himself. I had called to make an appointment to have the break pads replaced and oil changed on my fiancé’s car. The woman who answered the phone was super friendly and helpful. She scheduled my appointment for me (I needed to schedule around my fiancé’s work schedule) two weeks out from when we spoke. I had asked if he’d be able to pick it up the same day and she said that he could drop it off the night before or first thing in the morning to pick it up at the end of the day. I apologize for the hassle my mother passed recently I lost my mechanic to a injury and the secretary you set up a appointment with quit all in a 2 week span I had no record of that appointment or a number to reach you prior. RecommendedMy car is my work vehicle. I needed a shop that was open late & possibly weekends. The car was looked at Wednesday, dropped off Saturday & fixed by Sunday evening. I am ready to work Monday morning with no more whining noise. We expressed urgency, and they delivered. I felt bad they were working late hours, but so appreciative. Responded to my calls ASAP!
Mike did several satisfactory small projects for us, heater cores, tune ups, brakes, etc. when I needed a new engine put In my F150, all hell broke loose! Delays, not a big deal, grease on my seat, steering wheel, arm rests, a bigger deal! I also had to take it back to his shop twice! I found cross threaded bolts and missing bolts! He drove my uninsured, unlicensed truck 97 miles. He then cancels the $500 core pick up over a $100 dispute!! He gave no reason why he took the truck for a 97 mile test drive. Game over!!
