Drove all the way from Redding since they advertised on Facebook that they were closing. Sign on door said closed for the weekend. That's what we get for trying to patronize a favorite restaurant. This isn't the only time this has happened. Drive up only to find they are closed. Would have been nice if they updated their website to reflect that they were closed. 3 other parties pulled up same as us. Very disappointing for all!
It's a shame that this place is closing. I know that they have a bad name in the local community, but under the new ownership they produced the best fried chicken I have ever consumed in my entire life. The pasta and meatballs were delicious and authentic as well. But the fried chicken is literally perfect and I would recommend it to any that go there. Absolute 10 out of 10 fried chicken. Definitely the best I have ever had in my entire life
Mike & Tony’s is a “must stop” restaurant if you are staying in Mount Shasta. 8 months ago we were fortunate to have Shiela as our bartender and lucky for us on our 2nd visit she was also there with her great customer service and mixing up a splendid martini!
