I hit a deer. My car was under valued by state farm as $5,100. Damages were assessed at 5200. ( No second opinions allowed). They totaled the car over a Broken quarter panel . Minimized my claim. Pennies on the dollar. Not worth doing business with state farm.
I have insured about 10 cars simultaneously with this office for several years. I have had a single claim ever, for any auto policy (this being a comprehensive claim). State farm wants to total a $45k car and pay $5k for it. I called the office and got Trevor, who informed me that they have nothing to do with claims, and they can't offer any support in any way. All they can do is refer me to the claims department. Clearly not interested in doing anything for their customers except take their money. Don't waste your time.
My husband has been with this office for as long as he can remember. We got married & he took over the auto policy. Anytime we have had to speak to someone in this office they are great to work with. Today I had to call regarding another person hitting my son. I was at a level 10 stress. I called & on the 2nd ring Christine picked up. She was warm & friendly and gave great information. For many years we had a great relationship with this office, they covered 2 cars, 1 motorcycle, and our home. We moved in September of 2023 and they insured our new home. During the initial inspection, which occurs AFTER we are already in the home, their inspector informed us we needed to replace the roof or they will not renew our policy at the end of 2024.
