I took our car in for an annual service and to have the a/c tensioner fixed as it was squeaking. He called during the day and seemed perturbed that I wanted the a/c fixed - even if it involving replacing the tensioner. He apparently replaced the tensioner, but it hasn't fixed the problem, which is worse than it was when I took it to him. He charged me over $1,300 for the privilege, charging me over 4 hours' labour, despite having serviced at least 5 other cars on the day and working alone (not sure how those hours add up in ... read more
