Today, around 2:40 PM, I was simply going about my day, making my way home. A truck with a trailer decided it couldn't wait an additional 10 seconds for me to pass. It abruptly cut in front of me with its trailer, forcing me to swerve out of my lane and slam on my brakes to avoid a collision. I was in my own lane. I should never have to slow down just so a vehicle in a turning lane from the opposite side can cut me off to turn onto a side street.
