SCAMMERS. Told us that it would be $2000 at closing. Today (3 days before closing) that it would be $6000. Thought it was an honest mistake until reading one of the other reviews saying the same thing. We will be getting a mortgage through another company. DO NOT TRUST THEM!

I shopped a refinance with mortgage companies including Allied. I decided to go in a different direction. The loan officer at Allied then began to harass me via text over a period of four days threatening to harm my credit, repeatedly asking why I changed my mind and calling me ‘rude and selfish’ amongst other personal attacks. It’s frightening a company conducts business in this manner.
Peter Buchsbaum and his team at Allied were able to provide us with a great level of service and got us the home loan we were looking for at a highly competitive interest rate. We greatly valued their advice and guidance through the process. We'd gladly recommend Peter and Allied to our family and friends, which is about as good an endorsement of someone's services as I can think of.
Kevin Murphy and his team went above and beyond what you would expect from a mortgage lender in the home buying process. After our initial settlement date request was agreed upon, we had a change in plans and asked if it could be moved up almost a full 30 days. Kevin and his team made it happen! There were issues with the sellers title work, and Kevin's team handled it quickly. They responded to questions and emails almost instantly.
