We have a 2019 BMW 530 i and it was getting notifications that the emergency communication system was not working and that was keeping it from clearing another notification related to an oil change and could not reset the next oil change. The dealership replaced the battery and did nothing to clear the other notes. I took the car to Mike Johns, they were great.
