I brought my car into the dealership with 2 punctured rear tires. I had the road hazard warranty, but didn’t realize how difficult the warranty company would make it to cover the cost of the tires. Service manager refused to work with Toyota for my hatch lift that was defective. They could easily have done so much but the bottom line is they are only there to assist when they make a dollar! Very poorly done Erdman Toyota!
Mason Cox was fantastic. Communicated with me the entire time, was transparent about price (and price was actually cheaper than other shops like PepBoys), was an actual person and not a robot. Fantastic experience. Plus they gave me a rental loaner for the weekend.
I brought my car in for a specific issue, and 5 hours later, I was sent a video from the technician telling me about a bunch of other supposed issues that I never asked for anyone to look at. There was little to no evidence that any of these issues were legitimate. Just the technician's insistence. This reinforces why I normally don't bring my car to dealerships because it always involves "recommendations" for repairs reaching multiple thousands of dollars.
