If I could give no stars I would. We went to Michael on a Monday to do our taxes. The meeting was great we had everything we needed except one piece of paper. So the very next morning my husband personally handed him the paper. He said he could have it done by Friday before my husband went out of town on Sunday. He then said if he did not have it done by then thatI could sign for my husband since I have POA. A week and a half later after not hearing anything I called to see where we were at. Mike Burgett saved us a lot of money in taxes. He uses everything possible so we do not have any more tax than than the law requires. When that happens, you can not only afford the tax but also the economical fee he charges. Besides, he has always sit down with my wife & I & explained everything so that even we could understand. He is not only professional in his work, but also his attitude. Mike really appreciates us!

I went to this CPA, Michael Burgett, & while he did my taxes correctly, he saved me thousands of dollars that other non-personal tax preparers cost me. He patiently looks for every possible deduction. He is apparently able to do so because he spends a lot of time studying the tax laws that apparently other tax preparers do not. He was very professional & expects his employees to be so too. However, apparently his employees only do clerical things because he is the one that always did whatever I asked for. My husband and I went to Michael Burgett's office regarding our taxes. His website and mail-out letters state that you can receive a free tax review with him, which is Not true. Our visit with him was free, but the experience was absolutely horrible and not worth the time!!! First when we arrived in his office, his assistant had not gathered all the correct information on us.
