Our experience with Mikasa was magnificent. From our first conversation to the incredible tasting experience, all the way to day-of logistics, Ana and Santiago were absolutely wonderful to work with. Ana’s impeccable professionalism, prompt response time, and kind, genuine heart were so welcomed in such unknown waters that wedding planning can be. Mikasa catered our wedding in September and the food, service, and staff were all incredible. I was looking forward to dinner all day because I knew how delicious our meal would be, and our guests agreed! So many friends and family complimented the food, even saying it was the best they'd ever had at a wedding. The staff were so friendly, attentive, and patient– it was a joy to have them be a part of our big day. Thank you, Ana, Santiago, & team!
My boyfriend and I DJ around 30 weddings a year with Spinfire Entertainment. We eat a lot of wedding food. On 9/27/25 Mikasa catered at Nantahala Weddings. It was the best food we’ve probably ever had it a wedding. I’m hoping maybe one day in the future they have a restaurant.
hands down the absolute best wedding food (and maybe even the best food ever) that my husband and I, as well as our guests have ever had. I 100/10 recommend for catering. From corresponding with them, to scheduling our tasting at Ana's lovely house overlooking the mountains, to day of service, they truly were exactly what you hoped to have there for the best wedding day ever. thank you all so much.
