We are beyond thrilled with our experience! Mikasa served the most incredible, authentic Peruvian cuisine—we’re still dreaming about it. I was father of the bride at a wedding at the BMBR on May 31. It was catered by Mikasa. 5 stars doesn't do it justice. Mikasa was spectacular in every way. So many guests approached me to tell me it was the best wedding food they had ever had. It was so so so good. Beyond that I could not believe how professional they were. They cared so deeply about delivering great food to our guests. I couldn't have been more impressed!
This team is high class and we keep hearing “that was the best food we’ve ever had at a wedding” from all our guests! From the initial tasting and meeting Ana & Santiago to the completion of our wedding day. Great team - and amazing food!
The Mikasa experience was smooth and executed to perfection from start to finish. Before our wedding, the owners were always available for phone conversations to answer our questions in a timely manner and did not hide any costs from us. From what I heard from guests, the food was excellent. As far as service I was disappointed with a few things. Day of I was asked if they could just place the appetizers on a table and leave them out. We paid for service so they would be handed out during cocktail hour so I had to have my maid of honor relay this to the team while my makeup was being done which was a stress added to the day.
