The tonkatsu ramen is WAY too garlicky, not much flavor to it, I had a heartburn afterwards. The chashu and egg was way too salty - don’t know how they achieve that. I liked the noodle - good chewy texture, but that’s the only thing right about this ramen. My husband got the shoyu ramen - EXTREMELY salty. The okra was ok - very small portion, some pieces are old, favor was ok.
Pepsi was best.
We chose to visit this place on a whim since it was close to the Field Museum Had a reservation for a party of 9 and they were well prepared for us, and even though we arrived early they sat us right away. The servers were great and attentive, and checked on us regularly. Food wise, everything that we ordered was really good. We ended up being there during their happy hour, which meant 2 dollars off the robata menu plus a selection of drinks. Whole experience was great and I would easily go back!
Incredibly over-priced for the quality of food. Nothing was terrible, but spending premium prices for mediocre food is very disappointing.
