I thank GOD for Dr Miguel Aguinaga, MD I have a Deep-Vein Thrombosis in my left leg. My treatment is one Eliquis twice a day and keep my leg elevated to keep from swelling. Dr. Miguel Aguinaga, informed me that a Deep-Vein Thrombosis or blood clot can lead to a fatal Heart Attack, or Stroke. My son, Quelondo Felipe' Carter, age 34, had a Pulmonary Embolism, that occurs as a complication of Deep-Vein Thrombosis.
