Worst Dr. experience ever. Left crying. I was dismissed and disrespected.
Dr. Makes is extremely detailed and thorough. She looked through my recorded history to find particular details about my medicines. She also called me at home within a week after my appointment to ask further questions and check to see if I had my follow up blood draw. Excellent care!
My mom visited Dr Makos Hemke after being discharged from the ICU for neurological issues. The doctor began the visit by telling my mom that she could not have her family advocate present during the visit and that, if we insisted, she would proceed as if they were not there. Worst experience with a specialist I have ever had and I suffer from chronic health issues so ive seen quite a few. Seen other reviews that mention similar experiences to mine and clearly nothing is done so no need to take the time to mention details. This physician does not align with CHI and how they treat patients and its a terrible look for the organization to keep her employed.
