I always thought buying Miele (at “premium Miele prices”) meant two things - quality and service. My entire kitchen and laundry are Miele..but my most recent experience of this company has turned me away from the brand. Purchased new Miele Heat Pump Dryer and had a concern with the installation from Miele Delivery Contractor. Miele arranged for a service technician to come out and properly install the machine. Excellent customer service. Very helpful and caring service people. The backup from Miele is exceptionally good. I book annual services on my washer and dryer when there is a service special and this is a worthwhile investment as they also update the latest software. On one hand, the person in the sales area failed to provide very important detail about the end product I was enquiring about. I ended up having to go back there just at closing. The retail people were totally gone, but a technician was just leaving, took me in to meet the worksop person who told me everything and provided the consumables I should have had in the first place. So: I wouldn’t rely on the retail people. But the others went above and beyond. Well done.
