I had the privilege of having my prenatal, labor/delivery and postpartum care handled by Midwives of Lindsay. The receptionist Lisa was always so kind and helpful. I had been introduced to all of the midwives, and every interaction was a positive and supportive one. My primary midwife Joy was exceptional and I owe so much to her. This was my second baby, and after having a difficult experience with my first baby through an OB, Joy completely redeemed what it meant to have a positive birthing experience. It’s taken quite some time to write this review but after seeing the midwife I was “assigned to,” comment on various social media posts regarding weight and being so positive/supportive regarding such a sensitive topic, I need to express the fact this particular midwife was anything but, and left me in tears the day of my first midwife experience, due to the way I was treated. Like most others, I cannot overstate how fantastic the midwives are. The level of care is unparalleled, and I felt heard and supported every step of the way. Thank you for helping me bring our precious child into the world and for your continued care - even after the 6 weeks postpartum, you’ve created a beautiful community that we are so thankful to be a part of. If you are having a baby in the area, I couldn’t recommend MLL more!
Had them from 22 weeks pregnant, everything went ok I liked and appreciated the team until some comments along the lines of “we don’t care about babies until they’re born” came out of a midwives mouth. She was referring to laws but the way it was delivered did not sit right with me and my partner, after meeting another midwife within their practice i asked to switch as my primary MW was not answering my questions diligently and seemed to rush education.
