After reading Shannon’s beautiful and transformative book Born Far From Home, I felt so drawn to having a homebirth. I loved reading about Shannon’s journey to Islam and birth work, and how her faith and spirituality intertwined with her midwifery care. I could not recommend my midwives enough! I am so incredibly grateful to have been under Shannon and Tara’s care throughout my pregnancy.
