The Greatest Midwifery Practice! – For years before I was pregnant (even before I was married) I received excellent gynecological care at Midwifery of Manhattan. I received attention that I had never gotten from an ob/gyn. The women here are thoughtful and patient, able to answer any questions. Caring Practice – Although my time here was brief - I was diagnosed with a missed miscarriage at my first visit - I really appreciate the care and compassion displayed by the staff. They were quick to see me when I called, worried after some spotting - then communicated the difficult news with so much care (the midwife I saw was Amanda). I hope to be a mother someday, and will go back to this practice most definitely.

Major Disappointment!! Money driven, terrible and aggressive – I am such a proponent of natural birth and informed birth decisions that i was very excited to use a place like Midwifery of Manhattan for my first babies birth. I booked an apt for a free orientation. I clearly stated that I already had an OBGYN but i wanted to hear about what their practice had to offer. I went in with my husband.
