This was my first pregnancy, and I’m so happy I decided to use Midwifery Services of Durham. I was lucky to have Team 4 (Alison and Sanaz). Both were very kind, knowledgeable, and attentive to my needs from the beginning. Alison was present for the entire birth and provided exceptional care, especially when complications arose. This was our first experience with a midwife, and it was absolutely amazing. Maddie and Connie were incredible, so kind, informative, and supportive throughout. We would definitely choose them again if we decide to have more kids.
I had an amazing experience with Alison and Sanaz as my midwives. They are knowledgeable, experienced, compassionate and supportive. I truly felt cared for by them. After having a challenging first birth (at a different hospital and different midwifery practice), I was nervous about how my second experience would go. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Durham Midwives. We had team Maddie and Connie and they were incredibly attentive, compassionate, and deeply respectful of every choice we made during labour and birth. They took the time to explain all of our options clearly, supported our birth plan fully, and never made us feel rushed or pressured.
